Downtown business owner Bill Crawford is the latest candidate to announce for Scottsdale City Council, bringing the number of possible candidates to 10.
Crawford, a fitness trainer and owner of Basic Training, is president of the Association to Preserve Downtown Scottsdale’s Quality of Life, a group that has fought against noise and other issues related to Scottsdale’s bar district.
He said many people from the business community encouraged him to run. In addition, he said two incidents caused him to refocus his attention to Scottsdale politics:
