Marana development signals vast improvement in housing market

New homes and storefronts are popping up all over the Town of Marana, signaling a vast improvement to the housing market since the 2008 recession.

New residents like Yao Wu are a promising sign that the Town of Marana is in the middle of a housing boom. Wu moved in with his family to a newly constructed home just a few months ago.

“You can see the whole area is booming. I do see the potential,” Wu told News 4 Tucson.

Wu scouted the best options for his new home, keeping in mind that he works at the University of Arizona and the house he now lives at is along a major corridor.
