The Mesa City Council will be at full strength as it sails into one of its most consequential months in recent history.
The council voted 6-0 on April 24 to appoint community activist Terry Benelli to the vacant District 2 seat.
The appointment was part of a merry-go-round of change kicked off when Scott Smith resigned as mayor on April 16 to run for governor.
