Flagstaff’s simmering housing market started to show signs of a sizzle at the end of the first quarter.
The year-over-year median housing price for March jumped by 18 percent from $271,000 to $320,000. The number of homes sold increased from 45 homes to 61 homes.
“These numbers are a direct reflection of a lack of inventory in the Flagstaff area. The situation is getting better but still remains tight,” said Stephen Brighton from Century 21 Realty.
