Paradise Valley town manager leaving post in early 2015

Paradise Valley Town Manager Jim Bacon is leaving his post Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, according to an April 8 letter to Paradise Valley Town Council.

“Paradise Valley has been a special place for my family and me for a very long time,” he said in his resignation letter.

“The past six years have been challenging but rewarding times, so it is with great difficulty that I write to let you know that I will be leaving my position as town manager on February 6, 2015.”

Paradise Valley Vice Mayor Michael Collins says Mr. Bacon led the town through challenging times.
