Study shows change needed at Sunland Gin, Arica roads

Increasing traffic congestion has been a growing problem for the residents of Mountain View Estates located behind Love’s Truck Stop at Sunland Gin Road and the I-10 freeway. The growing number of commercial trucks, together with the high number of vehicles exiting and entering the freeway combined with the number of Arizona City bound motorists have made the intersection of Arica and Sunland Gin roads a nightmare for Mountain View Estates residents.

For years now concerned area residents have called Pinal County to complain about the intersection. Several Mountain View residents have even made it a point to visit with Pinal County Board of Supervisors Chairman Anthony Smith during his monthly visit with Arizona City residents.
