Paradise Valley Mayor Scott LeMarr says he will not seek to retain the top elected position this election year.
A lifelong resident of the town and a community volunteer consistently since 1989, Mayor LeMarr says its time for him to step away from the elected position, pursue new professional endeavors and enjoy a new chapter in his life.
“The town is in as good as shape as it ever has been,” he said in an April 16 interview at Town Hall. “I have served the town like it was a full-time job, but I don’t want to stay too long.”
