About 60 residents of the Yavapai Hills neighborhood gathered Saturday near Lee Boulevard and Highway 69, carrying signs protesting a proposed senior housing complex planned for a high-profile hilltop.

Touchmark at the Ranch would include 379 units, including a combination of independent living, assisted living, and memory care, according to a company spokesman.
