Arizona loses 2,200 construction jobs between March and April

Arizona lost a staggering 2,200 construction jobs between March and April, more than half of which were in metro Phoenix, according to the Associated General Contractors of America. Arizona tied with Minnesota for fourth-highest job losses in the nation. It also accounted for a 1.8 percent dip in employment month-over-month, ranking Arizona at No. 46.
