A group is looking to recall Willow District Councilman Jon Edwards, mainly over housing density.
Citizens for a Better Peoria has until Aug. 13 to collect 1,789 signatures.
“I would like my representative on the City Council to vote what his constituents really wants,” said Kenneth Krieger, who formed the committee behind the recall.
Mr. Krieger was spurred to action following Mr. Edwards’ and the council’s vote to increase the housing density at the Riverwalk development at Pinnacle Peak Road and 77th Avenue.
