Walking into the DPR Construction offices in east Phoenix, the wood accents, gently swirling fans and polished concrete floors make it clear the designers put serious thought into the building’s plans.
What is not obvious is that the building was designed to be as energy efficient as possible, qualifying it as “net zero,” meaning the solar panels on the parking structures generate enough electricity to offset what little the building uses in a year.
