Real estate agent Ted Petersen will be watching intently from his Scottsdale office as the National Football League draft rolls out, staying in touch via phone, Twitter and Facebook with more than 30 other people in NFL cities primed to find homes for the first athletes picked.

“We have real-estate agents on the ground in every NFL city, and we have contacted every potential draft pick’s agent so they know we are here to help their clients find a home in their new city fast,” said Petersen, a Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agent. He also is vice president of Los Angeles-based SportStar Relocation and CEO of its Arizona division.
