Small condo project in Scottsdale, development named MZ

MZDuring Belfiore Real Estate Consulting’s most recent survey in Scottsdale, “MZ,” a new condominium project  on the corner of 73rd Street and Minnezona Avenue, was at frame stage. According to public record, Old Town Townhomes LLC closed on this site on May 16, 2013 for $560,000 ($70,000 per planned unit) (Click here to view affidavit). The project was originally approved by the Scottsdale Development Review Board back on March 17, 2011. The owner then received a time extension for the approval on March 21, 2013. The builder has since pulled building permits in January 2014. According to a press release from the builder, the community is being designed as a Net Zero Energy development.

Two floor plans are offered at this site. There is one –one bedroom unit (925 square feet), and seven- two bedroom units (1,254 square feet). Prices range from $399,000 – $420,000.  According to Ed Gorman, who is selling the project, no public report has been issued and he is currently creating an interest list.
