Tempe General PlanYou may have seen the small signs dotted around the political campaign signs in Tempe – indicators that this General Plan update will be an interesting one. General Plan updates are often completely overlooked by the public, but in today’s post Prop 207  world, stakes are higher as municipalities try to balance an improved vision for their future with the legal rights of property owners. Scottsdale can attest to how hard that can be, and now Tempe is learning the same as developers threaten action over what they believe to be reduced options for their properties.
