Town staff believe they have drafted a new zoning district that preserves the semi-rural lifestyle in Wildhorse Estates, while also complying with state statutes requiring comparable zoning in a newly-annexed area.
The Town Council held a public hearing Monday on a new Rural Residential Equestrian Subdivision zoning district. This zoning will be placed on Wildhorse Estates if the town’s annexation of that subdivision and the surrounding area is successful. The council will vote on the ordinance that creates the new zoning on May 19.
