The intersection of Indian School and Granite Reef roads in Scottsdale is undergoing a major transformation with the addition of Wood Partners’ four-story, 218-unit apartment complex.

Alta Scottsdale is being built where Rural/Metro Corp.’s billing and operations center used to be, northeast of the intersection. Wood Partners is investing $35 million on the new complex.

The developer of multifamily residences purchased the 5.65-acre parcel from Rural/Metro and construction started last December.
