Canadian investor buying Phoenix apartments in $27.3 million deal

Phoenix- A limited partnership formed by the Sheiner Group in Westmount, Quebec, Canada (Lloyd Sheiner, pres.) paid $27.3 million ($71,094 per unit) to buy the 384-unit Colter Park Phoenix apartments located at 909 W. Colter Street. The project was sold by 909 West Colter Street Apartments Capital LLC, a company formed by UBS Global Asset Management in Hartford, Ct. The deal was negotiated through Cliff David and Steve Gebing of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in Phoenix. Sheiner Group owns and operates Living Well Homes, which has been buying single-family and multi-family properties in the Valley. Maricopa County records show LWH Colter Park Apartments LP (Living Well Homes) paid cash for Colter Park, which was built in 1972. Continued
