Despite the economic hangover leftover from the Great Recession that continues to linger over Phoenix, business leaders and economic development officials say all indicators point to an upward trend in the commercial marketplace known as the Biltmore area.
In terms of economic development — commercial office vacancy rates, net absorption and price per square foot — the Camelback Corridor appears to have rebounded and turning into a bustling marketplace, experts say.
Representatives of two of the central Phoenix’s landmark shopping centers, the Biltmore Fashion Park and The Shops at Town and Country, say they are coming off successful years and expect the future to be even brighter.
