CEO of SBA lenders group resigns amid slump in agency’s 504 real estate loans

There’s been a leadership change at the trade association representing lenders who use the Small Business Administration’s 504 program.
Beth Solomon has resigned as president and CEO of the National Association of Development Companies, which represents around 270 nonprofit organizations that made more than $5 billion in SBA-guaranteed 504 loans to nearly 8,000 small businesses last year. These loans are used primarily to finance owner-occupied commercial real estate.
