After more than 18 months of work, the 2025 Coolidge General Plan has finally been complete, and barring changes from the state, is now ready to be put up for vote by the public.
The Coolidge city council Monday voted unanimously to approve the general plan as presented to them by Growth Management Director Rick Miller. It will be included on the general election ballot that voters will have access to for the general election on Nov. 4. If voters reject the general plan, the current plan would remain in effect until a new draft can be completed. Miller has said the current plan is far outdated and not accommodating for the needs of Coolidge.
