Maricopa city judge steps down in wake of investigation

Longtime City Magistrate Scott Sulley is stepping down.

The handling of monies in his court has been the subject of an investigation. He was “reassigned to duties” by Stephen McCarville, presiding judge of Pinal County Superior Court, in February. Sulley was prohibited from judicial duties as part of his reassignment.
