Median Tucson home prices climb slightly, permit volume took expected drop in May

Tucson’s residential resale market saw minor declines in unit sales, total sales volume and new and active listings from April to May, but the median home price climbed slightly.

With 1,215 homes selling for a combined $248.5 million last month, versus 1,301 selling for $256.4 million in April, the month-to-month activity was basically stable. Similarly, inventory didn’t lose much— differences of only about 70 units for all active listings, and 47 for new listings.
