Staying Connected with the City of Apache Junction
Did you miss the most recent Apache Junction City Council meeting? Are you wondering what great event is happening at the Apache Junction Public Library? The City of Apache Junction offers various ways to stay connected with what is happening in your community. The website, www.AJCITY.net not only includes the contact information for each department and recent news, it also provides access to Legsitar. City Council work sessions, City Council meetings, Planning and Zoning Commission work sessions and Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are all recorded and available online. Additionally, the meeting agendas are available on Legistar prior to the meetings.
Many of the departments interact with the public through social media. The following departments have active Facebook pages that provide upcoming events and general information (each page begins with www.facebook.com): Parks & Recreation (/ajparksandrec), the Library (/ajlibrary), the Police Department (/ApacheJunctionPD), Paws & Claws Care Center (/ApacheJunctionAnimalControl) and the City of Apache Junction (cityofAJ).
