In 2011, perhaps the low-water point of the real estate recession, the median sold price of Prescott homes was $139,000.
That has nearly doubled, as the median (the point where half the numbers are lower, and half higher) sold price of Prescott homes was $260,000 for the first four months of 2014. The average sales price in May was even higher, in the $275,000 range.
It has been quite a seller’s market as they’ve been getting 93 percent of their listing prices here this year.
