Arizona records hefty construction job loss in June

Arizona saw the second-largest loss in construction jobs last month, reports KJZZ-FM.

The state posted a 3.6 percent drop in the number of construction jobs. That translates to a loss of 4,500 jobs.

After seeing some momentum earlier this year, construction has stalled. The sector only has recovered 7 percent of the jobs it lost during the recession.
