Long known as one of the nation’s largest bedroom communities, Mesa in recent years has started attracting a more diverse mix of development projects ranging from office parks to industrial complexes and, of course, more neighborhoods.
While the city was incorporated more than 130 years ago, aggressive expansion over the years has ensured there remains plenty of open land to develop, and efforts to redevelop aging areas are also in full swing.
From a streetscape overhaul in Mesa’s southwestern Fiesta District to Riverview in the north and the master-planned Eastmark community 15 miles across town, there are plenty of construction projects to track.
