International manufacturer announces new Peoria location

A global manufacturer of high-quality plastics/advanced composites announced plans to open its first U.S. location in Peoria , an extension to its headquarters in Portugal, according to a Peoria news release on Thursday.

Spanning 12,000 square feet, the new GEPACK facility will be located at 8716 W. Ludlow Drive near Loop 101 and Thunderbird Road. It is expected to open in the fall.

GEPACK has been in business for more than 14 years with customers in more than 30 countries. As a leader in high-grade polyethylene terephthalate technology with more than 240 products available, GEPACK has been exploring U.S. location options for more than 15 months.
