The Southwest Valley village of Laveen is getting its first hospital.
When it opens in early 2015, Arizona General Hospital will be 39,000 square feet, have an emergency room, 16 inpatient rooms, two operating rooms, a laboratory and a radiology suite. Developers said it would bring 300 new jobs and an investment of $75 million.
“The Arizona General Hospital will be capable of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures … and will be equipped with the latest technologies,” said Andrew Jordan, chief marketing officer at Adeptus Health, which is opening the hospital.
