Maricopa city wants clarification of single-home design from zoning rewrite task force

The zoning code re-write task force — which has been working since January of 2013 to determine the permitted uses of land in the city — has more work to do.

The task force presented proposals Tuesday at the City Council meeting.

City Manager Gregory Rose recommended the task force review a few aspects of their proposed code before presenting it to the zoning and planning commission for approval.

Rose said he wanted clarification for city staff on single-family home design guidelines and other items.
