Queen Creek Town Council approves purchase agreement for Town Center land

Queen CreekAt its July 16 meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council approved a purchase agreement with Thompson Thrift for the development of a Town-owned property located in Town Center. The parcel, which consists of 20 acres, is located at the northeast corner of Ellsworth Loop and Maya roads.

Thompson Thrift, a development company headquartered in Indiana, was selected by the Town after an extensive request for proposals process. The firm will pay $6.25 per square foot ($272,000 per acre) for the property and plans to build a mixed-use commercial center.
