Tucson gets aggressive, sends building permit to Tesla for Gigafactory

The city of Tucson on Wednesday sent a building permit to Tesla Motors hoping the move will entice the electric car maker to choose that city for its $5 billion Gigafactory battery plant.
Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild sent the permit and a brief memo to Tesla officials hoping to lure the estimated 6,500 jobs the plant will create, the Tucson Citizen reported.
