‘Arizona Republic’ Editorial Board slams APS dark money play and calls on ACC to open APS’ books

Our View: Is APS spending big bucks to pick its regulators? There’s only one way to find out.

The Arizona Corporation Commission usually devotes itself to important but mundane matters such as how much you’ll pay for water or electricity.

But this year, it can do much more: It can protect democracy.

It would do this by requiring Arizona Public Service Co. to come clean on whether it is trying to choose who regulates it.
