A wealthy Los Angeles attorney who is a big donor to the University of Southern California and testified at the O.J. Simpson murder trial has paid $21.6 million in cash for a Phoenix commercial building, reports Mike Sunnucks at Phoenix Business Journal.
Charles Griffin Cale’s Griffin Opportunties has acquired a 145,000-square-foot building near Interstate 17 and Greenway Road. The 9.6-acre property is leased to Climatec, a Phoenix-based company that makes building and energy systems and products.
Cale testified in the infamous 1995 O.J. Simpson murder trial. He was a neighbor of Simpson’s and was called to testify about where the notorious white Ford Bronco was parked after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
