Council candidates discuss Paradise Valley transparency

Each week Independent Newsmedia is asking questions of each Paradise Valley candidate and running those responses in weekly installments at arizona.newszap.com and in the Town of Paradise Valley Independent newspaper.

The ninth installment of the question-and-answer series is on how transparent these candidates believe Paradise Valley municipal government to be and the municipality’s use of close-door sessions.

In Arizona, municipalities are given a provision within state statutes to discuss certain items away from the limelight of the public arena.
