Candidates for two Glendale City Council races met at the Surprise Today offices recently for an editorial board meeting and it should come as no surprise that the debate over the Tohono O’odham Nation’s West Valley Resort was the hot topic of conversation.
Present for the meeting and running for the Cholla District seat were Gary Deardorff, Van DiCarlo, Robert Petrone and Lauren Tolmachoff. Running for the Barrel District seat are John Benjamin, Randy Miller, Michael Patino and Bart Turner.
