Meet the legislative candidates for the Southwest Valley

By David Madrid and Lesley Wright | The Republic | azcentral.com District 4 runs through parts of Goodyear and Buckeye, reaches southwest to Yuma and heads east to Tucson. The district also includes Gila Bend, the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range and much of the Tohono O’odham Nation. The race features two unopposed candidates for Arizona Senate: incumbent Democrat Lynne Pancrazi and Republican challenger Connie Uribe. In the District 4 House race, three Democrats are in the primary for two seats in the Nov. 4 general election. Republican Richard Hopkins is unopposed.
