Nationwide adds small parcel to its big Gilbert development

Screen Shot 2014-08-14 at 7.02.54 AMThe development arm of Nationwide Insurance has grabbed a 2.9-acre parcel in Gilbert from Exxon Mobil for its sprawling Rivulon development.

Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Realty Investors wants to develop as much as 3 million square feet of office space and another 500,000 square feet of retail space and hotels, Phoenix Business Journal’s Mike Sunnucks reported Wednesday.

The acquisition of Exxon Mobil land at the corner of Pecos and Gilbert roads adds to the 250 acres slated for the Rivulon development.

Meanwhile, Wellness company Isagenix International LLC is slated to occupy a three-story 150,000-square-foot-office building. Another 125,000-square-foot speculative office building is also slated for construction along with an LA Fitness building.
