Surprise has hired Gila Bend Town Manager Fredrick Buss as the city’s new assistant city manager.
Buss’ annual salary will be $150,000.
While in Gila Bend, Buss oversaw the opening of three utility-scale solar plants, a carbon regeneration facility and a 400-acre APS solar facility, which opened this summer.
