You recently testified in Washington for a bill to streamline exchanges of federal and state land. Why?
As vice president of the Western States Land Commissioners Association and the Arizona State Land Commissioner, it’s my duty to work with stakeholders to identify solutions to long-standing problems. The bill would allow states to efficiently remove their lands from inside federal conservation areas and relocate these assets to areas more appropriate for the generation of revenue for schools and state institutions.
What is the current process for trading land?
