Scottsdale REIT seeking to sell stock in IPO offering

Store Capital Corp., a Scottsdale company that leases real estate to restaurants, retailers and other commercial tenants, has filed paperwork to sell shares for the first time in the stock market.

The company already counts $2.37 billion in assets invested in 767 properties in 43 states. Tenants include Applebee’s, Ashley Furniture and Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen. Others include movie theaters, health clubs and child-care centers. Some 29 properties are located in Arizona, with heavier concentrations in California, Illinois, Texas and several Southeastern states.
