Boomers booming in Pinal County, Prescott

Phoenix and Tucson are attracting fewer millennials than other major Western cities and Arizona’s baby boomer growth is the most robust in outlying areas such as Pinal County and Prescott, according to a new report.

Regionally, young adults are landing and staying more in Portland, Denver, Seattle and even Las Vegas and Albuquerque more than Phoenix and Tucson, according data from the RealtyTrac real estate information service.

A marked display of Arizona’s generational divide is in Yavapai County, which includes Prescott and Prescott Valley.
