Coolidge okays marijuana cultivation business

An industrial park that has been home to a medical marijuana dispensary for more than a year is well on its way to having another cannabis-based business operating.

The Coolidge Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved on Sept. 10 a conditional use permit requested by Agronomy Innovations for a medical marijuana cultivation facility to be located at 1341 W. Industrial Ave., in the Coolidge Industrial Park just south of the wastewater treatment plant.

The cultivation center would be located in an empty building previously occupied by Mesa Fully Formed.
