Jim Irving appointed to Maricopa P&Z Commission

The Maricopa City Council unanimously appointed Jim Irving to the city’s Planning & Zoning Commission Tuesday. Irving, a former Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board member, was nominated by Councilman Marvin Brown.

“Jim has been very instrumental in working with the school district for many years,” Brown said.

Irving moved to Maricopa in 2005 and is a member of the Maricopa Education Foundation and on the community advisory board for Maricopa High School’s Career and Technical Education program.
