[OP-ED] Interstate 11 debate: ADOT should use accurate data when it comes to funding interstates

Regarding The Arizona Republic editorial “When opportunity knocks, don’t call it a ‘boondoggle'” (Opinions, Thursday).

We agree that “this isn’t about cars vs. transit” and that there should be a larger vision for an Intermountain West multi-modal corridor. Furthermore, we recognize and appreciate the efforts of elected officials, business leaders and others who are focused on improving our state’s economy by connecting states and even nations to one another.

That said, the editorial board missed the point of our report.
