Pinal County’s five-year plan for capital improvement projects will have its biggest budgetary effect in the next 24 months.
Of the more than $77 million budgeted for capital projects in the next four years, about $63.5 million will be spent during this fiscal year and the fiscal year that starts July 1, 2015. This year alone, more than $35 million is expected to be spent.
For comparison, $18.4 million was spent on capital projects last fiscal year.
