The head of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee said some things need to be settled with the city of Glendale in order to make Super Bowl XLIX a success in February, reports Bob McClay at KTAR
Chief Executive Officer Jay Parry acknowledged the committee has some issues with Glendale.
“The parking plan, for one,” said Parry. “Also, right now we have two hotels in Glendale that are in the hotel room block.”
The Arizona Cardinals have also been bickering with Glendale over similar issues.
Parry put it another way.
“I would say that we’re working with Glendale, and we have some areas that we need to shore up with them and come to conclusion on,” she said.
