CyrusOne is further on its way to creating one of the world’s largest data centers as it broke ground Wednesday in Chandler on its second building there.
The 125,000-square-foot shell will initially have two 30,000-square-foot data halls, with the ability to quickly build another 60,000-square-feet for the second phase of the second building once the customer demand is there. The new building will offer up to 18 megawatts of power, said Stuart Levinsky, CyrusOne’s general manager of the western region.
