Architects from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West in Scottsdale will influence the development of what likely will be the last big new residential community in Cave Creek.
Houses in the 982-acre Cahava Springs are being designed by students and faculty from Taliesin and reflect the famed architect’s style of low buildings with straight lines designed to complement the desert.
The development, on rolling hills dotted with saguaros, is designed with lots of open space. Only 230 houses are planned for Cahava, where 82percent of the land will be preserved.
