PhoenixMart plan is topic of special meeting Thursday

Casa Grande Dispatch

The Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a special session Thursday to consider a major general plan amendment for 111 acres on the PhoenixMart development site. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Casa Grande Main Library activity room, 449 N. Drylake St. It’s open to the public.

The PhoenixMart developer has requested a major general plan amendment to reclassify 111 acres from neighborhoods to commerce and business. The land being considered for reclassification is on the northern edge of the PhoenixMart property, south of Cottonwood Lane.
