Rio Nuevo board rejects Peach Properties’ RFP protest

The Rio Nuevo Multipurpose Facilities District rejected a formal protest from Peach Properties HM, Inc. regarding the selection of its competitor, Nor-Generations LLC, as winner of its $100M Arena Site project RFP in August.

In a letter dated Oct. 3, Rio Nuevo Contract Officer Michelle Bettini concludes that Peach did not provide evidence to overturn the board’s decision to negotiate with Nor-Gen or to restart the RFP process.
